Arrowtown Motel and Mountain View Manor are locally owned by the 5th generation Stevenson family. A brother and sister duo, they have strong ties to the business and wider community having operated several successful businesses and raised their respective families in the region.
The Motel complement their desire to make Arrowtown a place to enjoy for travellers from New Zealand and across the globe. A real slice of paradise to gain memorable experiences at any time of the year, with the comfort of that ‘home away from home’ feeling.
Johnny and Hayley welcome you to the district and hope you will take the opportunity to enjoy the vast array of activities and adventures on offer including walking to the top of Tobin's track to sit on the memorial bench seat of Johnny and Hayleys parents who were also icons of the region.
The Motel have been part of the Arrowtown landscape since the 1970’s and maintained to a very high standard, enjoying Silver Qualmark status. The Mountain View Manor is quintessential Arrowtown with a retro style vibe but with all the mod-cons. The motels and Mountain View Manor are designed for all, whether you’re on business or vacation, it’s our pleasure to welcome you to Arrowtown and ensure your stay is an enjoyable one.
How It All Started
Very quiet and meticulously maintained motel in a residential neighborhood of Arrowtown but only several minutes from city centre of Arrowtown and 20 minutes from the expense and congestion of Queenstown. For us, this site was the way to go and we are glad we chose this lodging. There were plenty of places to eat in Arrowtown, and still enjoy what there was to offer in the Queenstown region.
We had a lovely stay at the Arrowtown Motels, lovely clean room that was cosy and warm when we arrived. Well equipped and had everything we needed. Location was within walking distance to town and the local four square nice and handy a few doors down. Catherine was lovely to deal with and very accommodating. Would love to come and stay again 😊
There was ample parking room, lavish décor, and a much-welcomed air conditioner. We had a private balcony area which was open when we arrived, so the room was pleasantly cool. Reception trusted us with the key to the laundry after hours. Everything felt spacious and a bit decadent, only partly because our previous stay was at a backpackers.
