Booking & Cancellation policy

Arrowtown Motel Bookings & Reservations

  • Bookings made directly over the phone or through our website require Debit or Credit Card details to secure the reservation. No payment will be processed at time of booking but will be required  upon your arrival.​

  • We accept Mastercard or Visa, Cash or Eftpos payments.  Diners Club and American Express are not accepted. Credit card transactions attract a 3% merchant fee at the time of transaction. ​

  • Bookings are not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email from us.​​

  • All bookings made through online booking agents e.g. Booking.com, Expedia.com.

  • Air BnB and Ezibed are subject to their terms and conditions. Please contact your booking agent directly to cancel/modify booking.

  • Reservation made through Booking.com, incur a 3% processing fee will be added to the total cost of your booking.

  • Travel Insurance is recommended.  Arrowtown is a stunning destination, but it can be subject to road snow closures and flight disruptions due to bad weather conditions(even during summer periods). To safeguard your trip and mitigate any potential issues we strongly recommend that  guests purchase travel insurance. In the event of force majeure, such as severe weather conditions or other extraordinary circumstances beyond our control, the motel policy stipulates that no refunds will be issued.

  • ​​Rates can vary according to availability, peak times and special events. Non-refundable deposits are  required at peak times or when  special events are scheduled

  • If a unit allows additional guests, a fee of $50 per adult and $25 per child under 12 per night will apply. Infants up to 2 years old stay free of charge, and a porta cot can be provided upon request.

Cancellations 

  • To amend or cancel a booking made directly with us, please send us an e-mail.  Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours prior to the  arrival date to avoid charges.

  • Cancellations within 72 hours of the arrival date will incur the full amount of the booking.

  • Date Changes will only be accommodated when at least 72 hours’ notice has been provided and is subject to availability.  Otherwise the full amount of the booking will be charged.

  • In case of a ‘NO-SHOW’, the full amount of booked stay will be charged.

  • During peak times a non-refundable deposit will be charged. The motel will contact you if this is required.

  • Block bookings of more than three rooms booked at one time will be charged a 50% deposit at the time of booking, or 100% in peak periods or when a special event is scheduled. NO REFUNDS will be given for cancellations made within two weeks of booked date through off peak periods.  No block booking refunds will be given for cancellations over peak periods or where a special event is scheduled.​

  • In the event, you cannot stay due to a government-issued restriction there will be no cancellation charge.​

  • A $25 administration fee will be charged for any refunds made.

General

  • We understand that accidents happen, but you may be charged for any damage or breakages to our facilities. Lost or damaged keys will charged a $30 fee per key and any costs associated with locksmith requirements. Charges will also apply for accidents, soiling, or missing items.

  • Should you become ill during your stay please contact us by phone. We can assist you with details of medical assistance and more information is provided in the compendium on the Arrowtown Motel website. ​

  • All units are NON-SMOKING/NON-VAPING. should you smoke in the unit a cleaning fee of $150 will apply. Ashtrays are provided outside units. Please be mindful of your neighbours and wafting smoke.

  • Free parking is available on site for one vehicle per unit only. There is free on -street parking available. Campervans, caravans, buses, trailers or oversized vehicles cannot be accommodated on site.

  • Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

  •  Disruptive and loud behaviour after 10pm can negatively impact other guests enjoyment. . We encourage you to politely ask other guests to lower their noise levels if necessary. If the noise persists, we may need to involve noise control. In situations where the noise cannot be resolved, guests may be asked to leave the property if they are in breach of our policy with no booking refund. This measure helps us maintain a pleasant environment for everyone.

  • Pets are not allowed at the motel with the exception of mobility or assistance dogs.

  • Rates shown are in New Zealand Dollars and are inclusive of 15% GST.

  • In accordance with data protection laws, we use appropriate business systems and security.

  • Procedures for accessing and using personal information. Only authorized employees are permitted to access personal information for preforming their duties in respect to our services. Credit card details stored for a maximum of 7 days after your stay. Thereafter, all data will be deleted from out systems. We do not share any personal information unless legally requested.
