Our Booking and Cancellation Policies 

Here you will find details about our accommodation booking and reservations details, cancellation policies and general guidelines.  Please take note of these policies especially as they relate to Covid-19 and weather disruptions.  We have a strict cancellation policy.

Arrowtown Motel Bookings & Reservations

  • Bookings made directly over the phone or through our website require CREDIT CARD details to secure the reservation. No payment will be processed at time of booking but will be expected upon your arrival. We accept Mastercard or Visa, Cash or Eftpos payments. We DO NOT accept Diners Club or American Express.
     

  • Bookings are not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email from us.
     

  • All bookings made through online booking agents e.g. Booking.com, Expedia.com, Air B n B, Wotif.com, Agoda.com, Hotels.com are are subject to their terms and conditions. Please contact your booking agent directly to cancel/modify booking.

  • We encourage you to arrange travel insurance as it is common for Queenstown flights to be redirected or cancelled due to bad weather (even during summer periods) 
     

  • Rates can vary according to availability, peak times and special events. A non-refundable deposit may be required at peak times or for special events.
     

  • If a unit allows for an extra guest, $25 per person per night will be charged. Infants (up to 2 years old) are free unless requiring a portable cot. Portacot hire fee is $25.00 per night. 

Cancellations 

Should you need to amend or cancel a booking made directly with us, please contact us on +64 3 442 1833 during office hours or e-mail us.  We will confirm via email.  If you do not receive a summary once you have requested a change, please contact us.​
 

  • Cancellations of direct bookings require a minimum of 72 hours notice before charges apply. All cancellations within 72 hours of arrival date the full amount will be charged.   
     

  • In case of a ‘NO-SHOW’, the full amount of booked stay will be charged.
     

  • During peak times a non-refundable deposit may be charged. The motel will contact you if this is required.
     

  • Block bookings of more than three rooms booked at one time will be charged a 50% deposit at the time of booking. NO REFUNDS will be given for cancellations made within two weeks of booked date.

  • COVID- related Cancellations: In the event, you cannot stay due to COVID -19, such as a government-issued restriction or if you are unwell, there will be no cancellation charge. A medical certificate may be required if you are unwell.

  • An administration fee will be charged for any refunds made.

General 

  • We understand accidents happen but charges may apply for any breakages or damage to our facilities. Plus a charge for resultant loss of income (if any).

  • Should you become ill during your stay please contact us by phone.  We can assist with details of medical assistance and direct you to contactless grocery delivery. 

  • All our rooms are NON-SMOKING. Ashtrays are provided outside units but please be mindful of your neighbours and wafting smoke. Extra cleaning charges (at Management's discretion) may be added if smoke is detected in the rooms. 
     

  • Extra adults staying will be charged $25 per night. Children 12 and under are $15 per night.
     

  • Free parking is available on site for one vehicle per unit ONLY. There is plenty of free (and safe) roadside parking. We unfortunately cannot accommodate campervans, caravans, buses or trailers on site.
     

  • Guests under the age of 20 must be accompanied by a guest of 20 years and over.
     

  • Disruptive and loud behaviour after 10 PM at night is not good for anyone. Feel free to ask other guests to keep it down, failing that, we shall call the noise control.
     

  • Unfortunately we cannot allow pets at the motel due to allergy sufferers. Mobility & assistance dogs are an exception to that rule.
     

  • Rates shown are in New Zealand Dollars and are inclusive of 15% GST
     

  • If you would like to stay longer than seven days, please ring us to discuss a discount.
